The most recent conferences for the Head teachers of our European Schools were held in Paris in 2009, Dublin in 2013 and Placeres in 2017

 

Paris, France 2009

Delegates representing over 40 schools and educational establishments linked with the Society of the Sacred Heart met to reflect on the essence of Sacred Heart education in 21st Century engaging in discussions about the spirituality of their schools, the place of technology, the need for inter cultural links and care for the environment in this interconnected world. The key speaker was Dolores Aleixandre RSCJ. A high point was the visit to Joigny. There was a really warm welcome from the community who shared Madeleine Sophie’s story with us in her home as well as providing us with a wonderful lunch! 

 

Dublin, Ireland 2013

European Sacred Heart Educators and RSCJ next met in Dublin. The school leaders and coordinators from Austria, Belgium, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Scotland and Spain were also joined by delegates from Australia and the USA.

Placeres, Spain 2017

Our most recent conference took place from October 5th to 8th 2017 in Placeres in Spain, not far from Santiago de Compostella.
